# Apps

Small pieces of software I make because I need them. They run on your own machine, keep their data there, and where the trust story needs it, the engine's source is public.

## Gobo (2026)

<img class="icon" src="https://bergmann.ai/img/gobo-icon.png" width="128" height="128" alt="The Gobo icon: a stage light masked into calendar blocks">

**Private calendar blocking for the Mac.** Your colleagues book meetings by what your work calendar shows; your life is on calendars it can't see. Gobo mirrors them onto it as plain "Busy" blocks, no titles, no details, entirely on your Mac, through the same calendar access Apple's own Calendar app uses. No server, no account, nothing to ask IT for. It also gives back the Busy/Free switch Apple's Calendar app removed for iCloud events.

Made with Claude as collaborator. The sync engine is open source under MPL-2.0.
